Way Library series -- Mercy talks Emergencies

Mercy’s monthly health series continues with an educational presentation about treating injuries and when to go to the ER. Chris Goliver, MD, medical director of Emergency Services at Mercy Medical Center – Perrysburg, will discuss what injuries should be seen promptly at an Emergency Room and what injuries can wait to be seen by your family physician. Dr. Goliver will talk about strains and sprains, demonstrate various wrapping techniques, and offer advice on what should be included in a basic first aid kit. Free blood pressure screenings will be available from 6:30 – 8 p.m. This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
