arch 9th, 2015David Grossman, MD, Health Commissioner(419) 213-4018Health Update: Opiate/Heroin Survey Results strive to reach 1% of Lucas County ResidentsIn order to better protect the health and well-being of county residents, the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department and the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board have been collaborating on a community-wide survey to determine the level of awareness in our community. Currently, 3,600 survey results have been collected since January 28, 2014. With the help from our community partners, media and law enforcement, we can reach our goal of 4,000.These survey results will be used to develop action steps to mitigate and reduce the use of opiates and heroin in Lucas County.
Your input is crucial for the development of effective strategies to educate residents and protect our community from the opiate & heroin epidemic. All survey responses will remain completely anonymous and only the combined results will be reported.
